Why does grooming my dog take so long?

-
What age should I start grooming my puppy?
We strongly encourage starting the grooming process as early as possible, typically around 8-12 weeks of age. Early exposure helps puppies become comfortable with the sights, sounds, and sensations of grooming. For their first visit, we recommend a gentle bath-only session to introduce them in a stress-free way. Patience is key—forcing a puppy through a full groom too soon can create fear and anxiety that lasts a lifetime. Instead, we take things slowly, offering play breaks and positive reinforcement to ensure a pleasant experience. Since grooming will be a regular part of their lives, building trust and comfort from the start is essential for a lifetime of stress-free appointments.

Can I bring my own shampoo?
